Program

Among the stars of the concert season, excels Johann Sebastian Bach. The Palau de la Música Catalana has become one of the great Bachian temples since its founding. As we mark the centenary of the first interpretation of the Passion according to St. Matthew, we will review the Grand Master's relationship with the Modernist Concert Hall and discover the key features of some of the masterpieces that have been performed on his stage. A Bach in perspective who, rooted in the past, still projects to the future.

Joan Vives, speaker of Catalonia Music and music disseminator, expert in the work and life of Kantor in Leipzig, will accompany us in these two conferences.
