There is much talk in Beethoven's music of form and structure, but how can the listener understand a musical architecture? And how does it work in a temporary art in which the entire work cannot be perceived, as for example, with the facade of a building? We will explore in detail and with musical examples these fundamental questions of our perception of music with Jonathan Brown and pianist Victor Braojos, who will perform Beethoven's Piano Sonata Opus 111.
