Notice (14/12/21): The Fundació Orfeó Català-Palau de la Música Catalana regrets to report that this concert, which meant the return of John Eliot Gardiner and his formations to the Palau de la Música Catalana, has been canceled due to the detection of covid-19 in the touring group, and the increased risks of travelling from London during a period of exponentially rising case numbers of the new Omicron variant in the UK. From the OC-PMC Foundation we wish a speedy recovery to those affected and we regret the inconvenience that this cancellation may cause.

HBerlioz: L’enfance du Christ 


The celebrated British conductor John Eliot Gardiner, who has maintained a close relationship with the Palau de la Música Catalana for years, returns to Barcelona to present Berlioz’s oratorio L’enfance du Christ, the perfect piece for the run-up to Christmas. Gardiner will conduct the Monteverdi Choir and the Orchestre Révolutionnaire et Romantique, joined by the voices of two Palau choirs: the Cor de Cambra chamber choir and the Cor Infantil children's choir from the Orfeó Català
