Details

Leticia Moreno returns to the Palau de la Música Catalana in a chamber setting, accompanied by pianist Lauma Skride. The duo will perform an unusual repertoire that includes pieces by Piazzolla, Ravel, Stravinsky and Bartók. A night of amusements, rhapsodies and milongas.

The appointment of Leticia Moreno as Echo Rising Star in 2012 projected her onto the international stage, breaking into the main European halls where she became one of the violin's great talents. Versatile and meticulous, thanks to her natural charisma, she breathes virtuosity and a profound interpretative strength. She has worked with leading conductors, such as Yuri Temirkanov, Esa-Pekka Salonen, Zubin Mehta, Krzysztof Penderecki, Josep Pons and Juanjo Mena, among others, and has collaborated with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, St. Petersburg Philharmonic, Mariinsky Orchestra , as well as with the major Spanish and Latin American orchestras.
