Take the chance to appreciate the incredible talent of cellist Pablo Ferrández in a live performance of Cello Concerto No. 1 by Shostakovich. A challenge few musicians can meet!
His repertoire includes the concert version of Prokofiev's ballet Romeo and Juliet. It is one of the most popular compositions of the 20th century, based on the literary work of the same name by William Shakespeare.
The concert features the Palau de la Música Catalana début of up-and-coming conductor Elim Chan, one of the youngest performers of the season, at the head of the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra.
