Considered the first opera in history, L'Orfeo, with music by Claudio Monteverdi and Alessandro Striggio’s libretto, will be performed at the first edition of the new Palau Opera concert series at the Palau de la Música Catalana. A star-studded line-up, which includes prominent names on the Early music scene, such as Ian Bostridge, Roberta Invernizzi, and Fabio Biondi at the head of the ensemble Europa Galante, is sure to guarantee a delightful performance with the participation of the Palau de la Música Catalana’s chamber choir, the Cor de Cambra.
