Young pianist Alexandra Dovgan, still just a girl, is a pupil of a particularly beloved artist at the Palau de la Música, Grigory Sokolov, who has sponsored her latest visit to Barcelona and highlights the maturity of her performances. Winner of several competitions, this up-and-coming talent is preceded by a professional career that has led her to share the stage with conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel, Ton Koopman, Trevor Pinnock, and to debut at Salzburg Festival, Amsterdam Concertgebouw and Theatre des Champs-Elyesees in Paris.
